NAH Management Earns BBB Accreditation with an A+ Rating

We are now a Better Business Bureau Accredited Business with the highest rating on their scale. Here is what that process looks like and why we pursued it.

NAH Management earns BBB Accreditation with an A+ rating

NAH Management is now a Better Business Bureau Accredited Business with an A+ rating. The A+ is the highest rating on the BBB's letter-grade scale, which runs from A+ to F based on the organization's assessment of how a business operates, communicates, and resolves issues. For our clients and prospective clients, this means NAH Management has been independently evaluated against a published set of standards and has met every one of them.

What BBB Accreditation Actually Evaluates

The BBB accreditation process is not a paid badge. It is a vetting process. The BBB evaluates businesses against eight Standards for Trust that cover how a company operates across multiple dimensions: building trust in the marketplace, being transparent about business practices, honoring commitments, advertising honestly, being responsive to customer concerns, operating with integrity, and safeguarding privacy.

The evaluation looks at the company's track record, how long it has been operating, its licensing and government filings, complaint history, and its willingness to resolve disputes through the BBB's mediation and arbitration processes. Not every business that applies is approved. And accreditation can be revoked if a business fails to maintain the standards after being accepted.

For property management specifically, this matters. Property management is a business built on trust. Owners hand over the keys to a significant financial asset. Tenants trust that their home will be maintained and their concerns addressed. The BBB accreditation process evaluates exactly the kind of business practices that underpin those relationships: transparency, responsiveness, and follow-through.

Why We Pursued It

This is the third professional affiliation we have announced this year, following our NARPM membership and our Trustee membership with the Winter Park Area Chamber of Commerce. Each serves a different purpose.

NARPM holds us to industry-specific professional standards and connects us to a national network of residential property managers. The Winter Park Chamber connects us to the local business community where we live and operate. BBB accreditation adds something different: an independent, consumer-facing accountability layer. The BBB is where property owners and tenants go to verify that a company is legitimate before engaging with it. Having an A+ rating there means anyone who checks will find a clean record backed by a published commitment to resolve issues fairly.

"NARPM holds us to industry standards. The Chamber connects us locally. BBB accreditation adds independent, consumer-facing accountability. Each serves a different purpose, and together they form the foundation of how we want to operate."

What This Means for Our Clients

For property owners considering a management company, BBB accreditation is one of the simplest verification steps available. You can visit our BBB profile and see our rating, read any reviews or complaints (we have none), and verify that we have committed to the BBB's dispute resolution process. That profile is maintained by the BBB, not by us, which is exactly the point.

For tenants, it provides an additional layer of assurance that the company managing their home operates with integrity and is accountable to an external organization if issues arise.

The BBB processes over 220 million profile views per year across 5.8 million businesses. It is one of the most visited sources of business credibility information online, and increasingly, it is a data source that AI search tools and platforms reference when evaluating business trustworthiness. Being present, accredited, and rated A+ there is not just about the badge. It is about being findable and verifiable in the places where people and systems actually check.

The Bigger Picture

Albert and I have been deliberate about building NAH Management with external accountability at every level. We are not asking clients to take our word for it. We are subjecting ourselves to independent evaluation by the organizations that set the standards in our industry and our community. NARPM for professional practice. The Winter Park Chamber for local engagement. The Better Business Bureau for marketplace trust. Each one adds a layer of credibility that is earned, not purchased.
