Between us, Albert and I have purchased, sold, renovated, leased, and managed nearly 1,000 residential properties. We have dealt with midnight maintenance emergencies, navigated difficult tenant situations, overseen major renovations, and learned firsthand what separates exceptional property management from the mediocre standard that dominates this industry.
That hands-on experience is why we started NAH Management. Not because we read about property management in a textbook, but because we have lived it, and we knew it could be done better.
Property Management Is in Our DNA
Albert has been deeply involved in residential real estate for over two decades. He has personally overseen the acquisition, renovation, leasing, and management of hundreds of homes. He understands the full lifecycle of a rental property because he has executed every stage of it, from evaluating deals and negotiating purchases to selecting tenants and managing ongoing operations.
My path has been similar. I have managed rental portfolios, built the systems to track maintenance and tenant communications, and learned through experience which processes work and which ones create problems down the road. When a property needs attention at 2 AM, I understand the urgency because I have been the one fielding those calls.
This is not a side venture for us. Property management is what we know, and NAH Management is the vehicle for doing it at a higher standard than what currently exists in the market.
What We Saw in the Industry
Through years of working with property managers, both as clients and as peers, we observed a consistent pattern. The industry had settled into two inadequate options.
On one side were the large institutional managers. They had sophisticated systems and professional processes, but they only wanted large portfolios. Individual investors with one, five, or even twenty properties were an afterthought. Response times were slow. Communication was impersonal. Your property was just another line item on a massive spreadsheet.
On the other side were the small operators competing on price. To make their economics work at lower fee points, they cut corners. Tenant screening was superficial. Maintenance was reactive rather than proactive. Financial reporting was inconsistent or nonexistent. Owners were left wondering what was actually happening with their investment.
"We kept asking ourselves: why does professional-grade property management have to be reserved for institutional portfolios? Individual investors deserve the same standards."
The gap was clear. Sophisticated individual investors, people who treat real estate as a serious asset class, had no good options. They were either ignored by the large players or underserved by the budget operators.
Building Something Different
NAH Management exists to fill that gap. We built it on the foundation of our combined property management experience, enhanced by the professional disciplines we developed in other domains.
Albert's career included serving as Vice President of Finance at MD Sass, a $16 billion investment management firm, and senior roles at Deloitte, UBS, Deutsche Bank, and CIT. That background shaped how he thinks about governance, controls, and fiduciary responsibility. At NAH, it translates into segregated trust accounts, clear audit trails, and financial reporting that meets institutional standards.
My experience includes leading operational transformations across global platforms, building teams and systems that scale, and implementing technology that supports rather than replaces human judgment. At NAH, that means modern property management software, automated workflows for routine tasks, and AI-assisted communication systems, all designed to deliver faster response times without sacrificing the personal attention owners and tenants deserve.
But these professional capabilities are amplifiers, not the foundation. The foundation is our property management experience. We know what matters because we have managed properties ourselves.
Our Approach
Everything we do at NAH starts from a simple question: how would we want our own properties managed?
- Rigorous tenant screening because we know that a bad tenant placement can cost an owner thousands of dollars and months of headaches. We verify income, analyze credit, check backgrounds, and contact previous landlords.
- Proactive communication because we have been the owner waiting for an update that never came. We reach out before you have to ask. We provide context, not just data.
- Transparent financials because we understand that trust requires visibility. Real-time portal access, monthly statements with full documentation, no surprises.
- Responsive maintenance because we know that small problems become expensive problems when ignored. We have established vendor relationships and systems to track every work order to completion.
- Local expertise because we live here. Winter Park, Baldwin Park, Maitland, College Park, Lake Mary. These are our neighborhoods. Our reputation is personal.
Why Winter Park
We both live in Winter Park. Our families are here. Our professional networks are here. We chose to build NAH in this market because we know it deeply, not from market reports but from years of living and investing here.
Central Florida has become a destination for sophisticated rental investment. The population growth, employment base, and quality of life continue to attract both residents and investors. But that growth has also attracted property managers who see opportunity without bringing the expertise to execute properly.
We saw an opportunity to raise the standard. To show what property management looks like when it is built by people who have actually managed properties, who live in the community, and who bring professional discipline to every aspect of the operation.
The Vision
NAH Management is designed to scale, but not at the expense of quality. The systems we are building, the technology we are implementing, and the processes we are documenting are all designed to maintain our standards as we grow.
We are not trying to be the biggest property management company in Florida. We are building the best option for owners who share our standards, investors who treat real estate seriously and expect their property manager to do the same.
"We treat every property as if it were our own investment, because we understand exactly what is at stake."
The key in our logo represents what we believe property management should be: the key to successful ownership for investors and the key to quality living for tenants. When both sides are well served, the asset thrives.
If you are a property owner who expects more from your management partner, we built NAH for you. We would welcome the conversation.
